We are pleased to share that our new calendar, designed by Cheshire based graphic designer Katie Lau, of KLdigitalart. is available from today to download free from our website!
Why do you need the 2025 Inclusion Calendar?
We believe that making improvements to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion cannot be achieved in isolation.
It requires a commitment to understanding the barriers that face diverse groups of people, and to support the building blocks that enable staff to be confident and capable of being inclusive every day.
We created the 2025 Diversity Calendar to:
Improve visibility of important cultural dates throughout the year
To act as a nudge to acknowledge and appreciate people from a variety of backgrounds.
To encourage people to learn about the history of the calendar dates and their significance to peoples experiences, ancestry and lives.
How the calendar can help your organisation
Reference guide to upcoming cultural, social and religious occasions
Improves visibility of diverse groups in the workplace
Supports inclusion strategies and action plans
Provides key dates for your organisation to mark
Is this calendar for you?
We believe everyone should be aware of the key cultural dates throughout the year that promote inclusion. Whether you are a CEO, HR professional, or are a team leader, or staff network Chair, it’s important that you give yourself the information you need to plan and learn about the different opportunities to promote and celebrate throughout the year.
How can I get the best out of the calendar?
Use the calendar as a reference point throughout the year to plan communications, blogs and events. The calendar is a great talking point as you explore the number of opportunities to promote inclusion that exist throughout the year.
We are constantly receiving feedback and ideas of other events to include, if you would like any to be added, please contact us. Please note, the list of events isn’t exhaustive; however, we hope that it helps you start discussions and explore what is relevant to mark in your unique context.
